THE GAME
KEEPS TEACHING.

Jimmy Gleason’s work is grounded in a lifelong connection to tennis and a belief that every player deserves instruction they can understand, feel, and use in the next point.

His coaching connects clear technical cues with purposeful movement, strategy, and the mental reset that competition demands.

BOOK A SESSION

COACH.
WRITER.
STUDENT.

Jimmy’s relationship with tennis extends beyond the lesson court through writing, photography, and connections across the sport. The constant thread is curiosity: observe carefully, communicate simply, and keep helping the player move forward.

Founder Story

A LIFETIME
AROUND THE GAME.

01

KALAMAZOO ROOTS

Jimmy grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a community with a deep connection to American junior tennis. Being around the game early meant seeing competition up close and learning how preparation, discipline, and small adjustments shape a player.

02

FROM PLAYING TO TEACHING

That early exposure became a way of understanding the sport: read what is happening, solve the problem in front of you, and make the next action clear. Over time, the player and competitor became a teacher.

03

COACH THE WHOLE PLAYER

Jimmy works with children, juniors, and adults—from beginners learning their first patterns to intermediate and competitive players refining their games. Sessions connect technique with movement, point construction, and practical problem solving.

The same emphasis on resilience and purposeful learning carries into the Gleason Tennis coaching philosophy.
